Passwords sites actually accept

Turn off any character a site won't take, or make one out of words. See exactly how strong it is.

What It Does

Turn off what the site won't take

Drop brackets, punctuation, or any single symbol with one click. Advanced lets you pick every character.

Words

Join random words from a 131,716-word list, with the separators you choose. Easier to type on a phone.

Real strength

The 2ⁿ number is worked out from how the password was made, not guessed from how it looks. Rounded down.

Easy to read aloud

Leave out 0 O 1 l I so nobody mixes them up when retyping.

Recent history

Your last 20 passwords, one click to copy. Kept in memory only and gone when you close it.

Private

Passwords are made on your device and never sent anywhere. The Mac app has no network code at all.

How It Works

  1. Pick a mode

Basic for everyday passwords, Advanced to choose every character, Words for a passphrase.

  2. Match the site's rules

Turn off what it won't accept and set the length. The password updates as you go.

  3. Copy

Paste it into the site and your password manager. On Mac the copy clears itself after a minute.

Free to Use

I made this to replace an old Intel-only password app I used for years. If it helps you out, donations are appreciated but never required.

macOS says it can't check the Mac app?

It isn't from the App Store, so macOS asks the first time. That's normal. To open: unzip it, drag it to Applications and open it once. When the warning appears, click Done. Then open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway. You only do this once.
